Backup Magic is a simple, fast and compact backup/file copy utility for power users and system administrators. It is not meant for full system backup and does not have loads of options, but it includes all of the tools required to get your daily backup jobs done fast and easy. Backup Magic copies new or modified files (you can specify include/exclude masks) from selected folders to another location that can be another folder, network drive, zip disk or whatever writeable device you see in Windows Explorer. Even making a backup to a CD-R(W) or DVD-R(W) disk is not a problem if you have packet-writing software like DirectCD or InCD running. You can make multiple groups and specify several file filtering options, request log file generation, use incremental or mirror copy mode and much more. Additionally, you can use variables in destination folder names, so you can automatically generate folder names with current date/time/day (like Backup of Monday AM) - useful for keeping version history by date.
